In the recent post we’ve thought up scenarios which are describing how our personas Amy and Bob use CoffeeBoy in daily situations. These scenarios mentioned potential objects and object properties as well as functions of our future product. In this post we’ll translate these objects and functions into data respectively function requirements. We’ll also define which requirements will form the scope for CoffeeBoy 1.0.

Our aim on the scope plane is to define the requirements for our product. These requirements will be derived from our strategic decisions made on the recent plane, as well as from the context scenarios we’ll create in this post. Then in the next post these requirements will be broken down into data, function and other requirements. In the end we’ll decide which requirements will be relevant for the first version of CoffeeBoy.
